The majority of Saint Joseph Catholic Academy students participate in athletic programs both in conjunction and outside of school. Participation on a Saint Joseph's athletic teams is one of the many ways that our students develop leadership skills, practice sportsmanship, and demonstrate Christian values.

Many Saint Joseph's student-athletes are multi-sport athletes
Studies have shown that multi-sport athletes display improved health and wellness, including decreased injury rates, improved athletic performance, improved leadership skills and teamwork, better attendance in school and better academic performance.  Many colleges are looking for multi-sport athletes. Most of all, at Saint Joseph's we know that students who play more than one sport are more connected to and have more fun with their fellow Saint Joseph's students and our school community.

Accomplishments
Our student-athletes consistently appear in both PIAA post-season District and State championship competitions.  Our school can boast multiple PIAA District VI and PIAA State individual and team champions. Saint Joseph's also offers club experiences for indoor track and field and snow sports.  With the approval of the SJCA Athletic Program, Saint Joseph's students may also represent Saint Joseph’s in high school competitions for other sports, such as gymnastics and wrestling.

Tri Valley Athletic Association Member
Saint Joseph’s Catholic Academy competes against teams in the Tri Valley Athletic Association (TVAA). The TVAA includes

Can't make it to Student LIfe Center for the gmae, you can still watch it!  Family members and friends of Saint Joseph's athletes can watch home competitions on the NFHS Network.  Subscription is required.
