Recognition

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Sophomores with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above, after third quarter of the year, are eligible for membership in the National Honor Society. Selection is based on scholarship, leadership, service and character. A quarter grade of D or F in any subject makes a student ineligible.

Students who meet the scholastic criteria will be invited to complete a National Honor Society questionnaire detailing their leadership and service roles within the school and community. At least one character reference letter must be included with the questionnaire. After questionnaires are received by the deadline, qualified students will be evaluated by a Faculty Council for membership. Scholarship alone is not sufficient for membership.

The formal induction ceremony takes place in the fall of each year.

DEAN'S LIST

All students who earn a 3.5 grade point average or above, with all grades at a minimum of C or above, will be recognized on the semester’s Deans List
