Saint Joseph's performing arts programs are constantly exceeding expectations

March 2022

The music and performing arts program has become a staple of Saint Joes life and culture. Musicians, actors, and dancers of all ability levels continue to push the ever evolving department in new directions. Singers and instrumentalists have the opportunity to join the music club where they learn the fundamentals of performing with others, and provide music for our all school masses. Those who are more interested in singing can enroll in the a capella group which performs original arrangements of popular music. Students enrolled in a capella may also choose to audition for the small group which performs additional and slightly more complicated music.

Perhaps the most anticipated performing arts event of the year is our annual spring musical. After being on a hiatus since the spring of 2020, we are excited to announce that a spring 2022 musical has been cast and is well under way! More details will be announced shortly! While our school is small, our performing arts programs are constantly exceeding expectations. Our A capella group has won awards, and our musicals have sold out theatres! However, it is our inclusivity that makes the programs so special. Everyone has the opportunity to participate and be a part of the excellence to which we have grown accustomed. In the past we have nurtured ukulele choirs, song-writing clubs, and pep bands. There is truly an opportunity for everyone, and if there isn't, we will make one!
