Athletics Update: Wolves Succeed in First Competitions of the Season

Wolf Nation,

The Wolves kicked off the school year by competing in some of the opening events of the Fall. We’re blessed to have student athletes that share their skills and talents both on and off the field. Keep reading for some updates about our athletic department.

Last week, Saint Joe’s golfers finished 4th at the Sinking Valley Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club in Altoona. Senior Matt Steyers led the way with a (10+) 82.

The Wolves also competed in cross country at the Oakbourne Relays in West Chester. The girls finished 6th overall and the boys were 10th. Sera Mazza and Myah Chappell’s relay finished 13th to earn a medal. Julia Cusatis, Sera Mazza, and Carter Kauffman were in the top 5 of total splits!

You can support all of Saint Joe’s athletic programs and student athletes by  joining Back the Pack and sponsoring our athletic programs.  The Back the Pack program is the boosters’ biggest fundraiser of the year, and it is vital in funding our athletic programs.

Thank you all for your continued support for Saint Joseph’s Athletics and our student-athletes.

Go Wolves!
