Dual Enrollment

College-Level Courses at Saint Joe's

Students at Saint Joe’s can begin their college careers in high school through dual enrollment. In fact, students may potentially graduate with a total of 39 college credits—almost a full year at the college/university level.

Dual enrollment allows Saint Joe’s faculty members who hold a master’s or doctorate degree to teach the college courses.  The syllabi and curricula match the requirements of the college/university, and have been approved by the chairs at the respective institutions. Dual enrollment courses fulfill requirement for Saint Joe’s graduation.

SAINT JOE’S HAS DUAL ENROLLMENT AGREEMENTS WITH:

The University of Pittsburgh

Saint Francis University

Mt. Aloysius College

Juniors and seniors may register for the course(s) and pay a minimum amount for the college credit.  The cost is approximately $50-$60 per credit as compared to $470 – $1000 or more depending on the higher level institutions. In one science course, students are expected to take a national exam that is worth 20% of the final grade.  All courses receive credit and grades based on teacher evaluations and assessments.

The following courses are offered:
