Mrs. Rodkey has a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education from The Pennsylvania State University and a Level II Instructional Certificate for Mathematics grades 7 through 12.
Mrs. Rodkey served as a math teacher for Juniata Valley High School for eleven years having taught Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. At Juniata Valley, Mrs. Rodkey also served as a Student Council Advisor, Math Counts Advisor, Track and Field Judge, Acting Department Coordinator, mentor teacher, and as chaperone for dances and class trips. She has extensive experience in math curriculum writing, evaluation, alignment and assessment, and coordinating Pennsylvania standards, PSSA and SAT requirements. She has her students engaged in philanthropic endeavors such as United Way and Relay for Life. Mrs. Rodkey is an instructor in the Adult Continuing Education Program, a private math tutor and a piano teacher.
Mrs. Rodkey is a youth group leader, missions and outreach coordinator, and a Sunday School Teacher for her church. She also serves her church as a pianist, keyboardist, and vocalist. Mrs. Rodkey received the PHEAA Scholars in Education Award and grant for four consecutive years from 1990 to 1993.
Mrs. Rodkey lives in Huntingdon with her husband Brett and their three children.
