Welcome Parents, Guardians, and Friends of Saint Joseph's!
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy opened its doors to our first class in August 2011. Led by a visionary Board of Trustees and supported by many benefactors and the community, the school began with a vision to provide a challenging academic environment in a spiritual setting. I am proud to be part of the Saint Joseph’s community that continues that vision as our school heads into its second decade.
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy accepts students of all faiths and family structures. Saint Joseph’s offers our students strong academic, religious, and co-curricular opportunities in school setting that is the right size for our students. Our students have the opportunity to enroll in both advanced placement and dual-enrollment courses.
The educational objectives, curriculum, and student life at Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy is built on the four pillars of Faith, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service. At Saint Joseph’s, we believe that a high school community and educational experience built on these four pillars is strong, balanced, and, most importantly, grounded in Christ. The pillars give our students the highest chance for success both in the short and long term.
In addition to Theology class, our students participate in weekly mass and other Catholic devotions. Many students participate in Campus Ministry. Our student-athletes compete successfully in PIAA sports, and some of our graduates have gone on to compete at the college-level. All students with a flair for fine arts and public speaking are welcome to take part in our mock trial team, acapella choir, visual arts club, and the all-school musical.
The sense of community among Saint Joseph’s students, faculty, staff and parents is fostered by shared values and a common purpose to constantly learn and improve. At Saint Joseph’s, all of our students are known by name by the faculty and administration. Saint Joseph’s students are expected to become involved in our school and encourage others to follow their lead. Our students are challenged to look beyond their personal friend groups and social media posts to see how they can engage in and benefit from both the Saint Joseph’s community and the community at large. As a result, our students grow in leadership and service to their fellow students and the community. It is no wonder that our students are involved and have logged over 5000 hours of annual community service.
The proof of the benefits of the Catholic education offered at Saint Joseph’s is in our alumni. As we celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we can boast a 100% college acceptance rate of our graduates. Our graduates currently attend and have graduated from top-notch colleges and universities. Further, our students have been awarded over $2 million in college scholarships. I encourage you to read about our growing list of alumni on our Alumni Spotlight webpage.
