Why Saint Joseph's?
I went to Divine Redeemer Catholic Elementary School in Ford City, PA, but there was no Catholic high school in close proximity to my hometown for me to continue faith-based education. Now, I suppose, I finally get to have that experience! The close-knit school community is a blessing, and the students are so full of energy, forward-thinking insight, and levity. It brings me great cheer knowing each day that I’ll come to Saint Joe’s and laugh a ton and learn even more.
I absolutely love that Saint Joseph, our school’s namesake, is the patron saint of families, and I truly believe that the school culture reflects that value especially for students and faculty alike. Just as I am sure students appreciate when we recognize and celebrate their evolving identities and responsibilities within their own families, we take pride in bringing our families to Saint Joe’s to join us whenever possible. I’d like to think my daughter Kennedy loves Saint Joe’s and the “big kids” there as much as I do!
