Standardized testing scores show that Saint Joseph's students are ready
Standardized tests measure a high school student's readiness for college and provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. Saint Joseph's students are encouraged to start standardized tests beginning in their freshman year, in order to gain experience and comfort in this important college admissions marker.
Common Standardized Tests
Common standardized tests include the PSAT, SAT, Pre-ACT, and ACT. Practice for standardized testing, along with discussion and practice in test taking strategies, is imbedded into the Saint Joseph's English and Math curricula, as well as part of the College Readiness course.
