Saint Joseph Catholic Academy offers a variety of club activities for students to gain exposure to and develop their band and art skills. Prior experience is helpful but not required. Clubs meet during the "club period" during the school day. Below is summarizes our more popular opportunities:
Inking Wolves Club
All Saint Joseph’s students with an interest in improving inking skills and drawing habits are welcome to join this club. The theme for this club was inspired by Inktober by Jake Parker. Innovative drawings and pieces demonstrate exceptional talent are eligible for submission to the Diocesan Art Show and the Saint Joseph Catholic Academy Art Show, held as part of the Spring Fine Arts Night. In Band Club, Saint Joseph's students have the opportunity to learn and play a variety of musical instruments. Club members perform as an ensemble at various events throughout the year, and is directed by Mrs. Sandy Muller. A Capella Choir
A cappella music is performed by singers without any musical instruments. All students with an interest in a capella are welcome to join this choir. The A Capella Choir performs at school functions, community events, and at the Spring Fine Arts Night. Small Group A Capella Choir
The Small Group A Capella Choir consists of 8-10 selected individuals who have heightened singing talent. Students must audition and be chosen for this group. Practices for this choir group generally occur each week on one day before school. The Small Group Acapella Choir performs advanced arrangements at school functions, community events, and at the Spring Fine Arts Night.
