Make Your Student's First Day A Great Day

We are excited that you have chosen Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy for your student.  In starting a new school, there are always a lot of details and loose ends. Below is a list of things parents and students can do to make your student's first day of school a great day:

Purchase School Uniform Items
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy requires that all students wear a uniform during the school day and follow a dress code for PE. Click here to view these requirements and view list of approved vendors.  Questions regarding the daily uniform and PE dress code should be directed to the school office.

Set Up Lunch Account
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy offers affordable, nutritious lunches daily. Parents/guardians must pre-pay for their student to be eligible to purchase lunch. Click here to learn more and how to set up your student's lunch account.

• Sporting event schedules are posted on the sports website, sjcasports.org.  Make plans to attend a home game!

Set Up Transportation Plan
Bussing transportation to and from Saint Joseph's is available for students of many school districts. Students may also drive a personal vehicle to/from Saint Joseph's and park the vehicle on campus in one of the parking lots.  Contact the school office at sjca@sjcacademy.org with your student's plan for transportation.

Watch Email For Information About Picking Up Computer and ID's
Students are given ID's and assigned laptops.  You and your student will receive an email about picking up his/her laptop and ID badge before school begins. Questions about the computer and ID Badge can be directed to sjca@sjcacademy.org.

Get School Supplies
Students are required to purchase their own notebooks, pens, pencils and other school supplies.  During the first week of school (or before) teachers will share a list of required supplies.  Questions about school supplies should be directed to the student's teacher.

Check Out The School Handbook
We encourage all parents  and students to take a few minutes to review the Saint Joseph's Family Handbook BEFORE the first day of school.  Click here to download this important document. This document has lots of helpful information about our school and how best to take advantage of all it has to offer.

Reach Out To Coach, If Planning To Play On Sports Team
Many teams offer off-season opportunities to improve skills and get to know returning players.  Further, student-athlete families are required to purchase some athletic uniform items.  Students are encouraged to reach out to the coach(es) of sports teams of interest, so that they are sure to be included in sport team-specific emails and text messaging.  Click here for a list of Saint Joseph's teams and the coaching staff contact information or reach out to the Saint Joseph's Director of Athletics at athletics@sjcacademy.org for further information.
