We are excited about offering a new structure for the Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy Back to School Night. Below details the events. We look forward to meeting all our students parents and guardians at this important event.

Social Sciences Overview (Amy Sharp - Room 202)
This session will explore the course and sequence for Social Sciences, reviewing standards and objectives for each progression. There will also be discussion about department electives.
Art in Action (Grace Cousins - Room B2)
In this interactive session, parents will step into the art room experience alongside their students. Through hands-on exercises that reflect the warm-ups and projects students will explore throughout the year, you’ll see firsthand how art encourages creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
Naviance and the Underclassmen (Michelle Robertson - Room B1)

AP English Unpacked (Ayumi Ohmoto - Room 206)
What's the difference between AP Lang and AP Lit? Is there a prerequisite for these courses? Learn how these dynamic courses challenge students to think deeply, read critically, and write with purpose. We’ll highlight course themes, key texts, and what to expect from the AP exams, along with ways to support your student’s success throughout the year.
Student Physical Health and Fitness (Joe Hergenreder - Room 205)
Incorporating the health science courses and after school strength and conditioning program to promote student physical health, fitness, athletic performance, and injury prevention!
The Impact of Leo Club (Ann Marie Moore - Room 103)
Service, Leadership, and Student Growth through Lions International… This session will focus on the role of the Leo Club in fostering student development. I’ll explain how involvement in Leo Club not only supports students in meeting service hour requirements but also strengthens other club activities and promotes a spirit of community service.

This session will explore theology curriculum as well as review SJCA’s Christian Service Program (a graduation requirement)
